Privacy Policy

CatchIQ is currently in pre-beta development. Our full privacy policy is being finalized with legal counsel and will be published before launch. In the meantime, here are the privacy commitments that are core to how CatchIQ is built.

What we know now

• ✓Your catch data is stored on your device and synced to your personal iCloud account — it never touches CatchIQ servers.
• ✓Optional Sign in with Apple — we only receive what you choose to share (your email or an anonymous Apple identifier). No passwords stored, no profile data collected.
• ✓No social features, no public profiles, no sharing.
• ✓No selling or sharing data with third parties.
• ✓All fishing analytics are processed on your device — CatchIQ the company never sees, accesses, or stores your fishing data on our servers.
• ✓We collect standard anonymous app metrics (crash reports, feature usage) to improve the app — this never includes your fishing data.
• ✓GPS coordinates from catch photos are stored on your device and your iCloud account only — never sent to CatchIQ servers.
